What an awesome experience walking through the first-year course at Charis Bible College! I have greatly grown in my understanding of God's Word through receiving amazing revelations. It was like a fire burning in my heart as my eyes were opened to these truths hidden in scriptures.
One of the greatest impacts Charis had on me was that I noticed the relationship our instructors had with God. Hearing their testimonies, the revelations they were teaching, and seeing their zeal and passion for God, I realized that it all sprang forth from an abiding relationship with the Lord. The churches they were pastoring in or the ministries they were involved in were not more important to them than knowing God's heart, being in the secret chamber where God speaks and manifests Himself. I began to have a passionate yearning for what I saw in them. I started to listen to His Spirit more attentively and be more aware of His presence around me. And I have observed that a true joy-filled life comes from sitting at my Father's feet and listening to His voice.
